Paul George has high expectations for next season
Disguised in his amazing Charles Barkley imitation, Paul George gave a very serious reply to Stephen A. about his expectations for the upcoming season, “If those guys play both ends the way they do, I’m going to go out and say they finish second in the West.” The Clippers guard believes that he and Kawhi are two of the best two-way players in the NBA. They can score at will on the offensive end of the court and stop any player on defense. “I’m going to give Denver their credit. They’re the Champions until beaten.” Added PG, paying his respect to the defending champions.
George added one more crucial sentence to his answer, “We got one of the biggest chances to win it, if healthy.” Health has been the biggest concern for the superstar duo of Kawhi and PG. In the 4 seasons they have been in LA, Paul and Kawhi have played only 142 games together. The Clippers have a 96-46 winning record when their duo is on the floor at the same time. But it happens so rarely that the Clippers have not had a successful season since they acquired the two superstars.
