The fact that the Clippers have four of the top talents in the league on their roster is no small feat. And Paul George realizes the opportunity this provides. In his Podcast with P, he says, “That’s what’s the beauty about this team, we can all pass up the shot, and the ball will still be in someone’s hands that is clutch, can make the plays, can finish, can win us a game. Regardless of who has it in their hands.”

Ever since James Harden arrived, it’s been a continuous stream of criticism and pressure. The main point – the team already has a trio of star power in Russell Westbrook, Paul George, and Kawhi Leonard. Harden’s history of smoking teams out as soon as he’s done with them hasn’t made his arrival any easier.

Their recent win was after a five-game losing streak. The 3x NBA scoring champion showed his prowess against Houston, reminding us once again why he deserves that title. Getting this victory has put the Clippers back on track once more.

Can the LA Clippers repay the fans’ trust going forward?

This team has struggled for so long with injury-riddled superstars. And when they began this season with a healthy PG13 and the Klaw, along with the all-time triple-double champion, the fans were thrilled. Until Harden had his wish fulfilled and the Clippers welcomed the 10x NBA All-Star to their midst.

Looking at his stats against the Rockets, James Harden had a clutch 4-point play and contributed 24 points, seven assists, and nine rebounds. For a player who trailed with 10 and 12 points, and often looked lost on-court, Saturday’s game was a rebirth of sorts.

Though the Clippers’ fans were not too aggressive with the welcome, the rest of the world didn’t extend that favor. Many fans could be seen providing support and reasons for Harden’s initial trouble on the court. It could be that they looked beyond James’ persona and his flair for theatrics. The man is still one of the greatest scorers in the league.

Now all they need is to continue this performance against the San Antonio Spurs tonight. They will be playing them a second time on Wednesday.
