What looked like a substandard performance on the part of the LA Clippers is now turning around into something good. Clippers are all the rage among fans and analysts and becoming one of the best teams currently, with 151 dropped against the Pacers recently. The team has won 8 matches straight, with their players finally starting to buck up. Some say it can be attributed to the fact that James Harden’s latest and surprising comeback performance, after what was disastrous on his part for quite some time. Others argue there’s many more in their roster who are making the team legitimate.

One of the reasons why the Clippers are also on a roll is because of Paul George. His powerful performance and the fact that he’s healthy is probably why the team is on a winning streak. This is perhaps the longest George has been healthy, along with Kawhi Leonard. So, after a sluggish start to this season, they’re looking at major wins together.

Paul George, being available, and averaging 22.9 pts, 5.7 rebounds, and 4.2 assists, speaks volumes about someone who is injury-prone. This is probably why in the game against the Warriors, Steve Kerr took notice of his potential and reached out to him with a rather illustrious offer. An offer any NBA player would be honored to take up. Coach Kerr wants to take George to the Olympics next year.

Yes, that’s right. Coach Kerr really walked up to George after their match against the Clippers and asked him if he was interested. This bit of information was first revealed by PG himself on his podcast show, Podcast P with Paul George. He said, “I had that conversation right after we, uh, played the Warriors. Steve Kerr is like, ‘Hey, any interest in playing the Olympics this summer?'”. We still do not know what George’s response actually was. He was pretty ambiguous telling this story to Daniel Theis, Dallas Rutherford, and Jackie Long on the show.

But considering that Coach Kerr himself would come to a player, despite him and his team being the reason the Warriors lost speaks volumes about how well a player is performing.
