Owner of Michelin Star Restaurant, Millionaire Ayesha Curry on Banning ‘Chef’ Stephen Curry From the Kitchen at Home: “It’s Always the Same Thing” (2019)

Lovingly known as ‘Chef Curry’, Golden State Warriors faithful Steph Curry time and again has proved that he possesses the sauce to cook his opponents on the court. The first Unanimous MVP in the league’s history is widely regarded as one of the best point guards ever. With his several talents on the court, Steph has raised the bar for what being an NBA baller means, but it’s his off-court persona that makes people like him even more.

Steph and Ayesha Curry are one of the most beloved couples in the NBA World. Ayesha, who also owns a Michelin Star restaurant, revealed in an interview that despite his great skill in “cooking” opponents, the 4x Champion is not allowed to step foot in their kitchen at home.

Stephen Curry is banned from his own kitchen

Ayesha Curry was a guest on Access Hollywood, promoting her new cooking show, Family Food Fight. The host asked Ayesha about Stephen Curry’s cooking skills. “Does he cook at home?” The 3-time New York Times bestselling author had a hilarious response, “I love good food. I wanna know that I am gonna be happy with the meal.” Ayesha revealed that Chef Curry is not as great of a ‘Chef’ at home as he is on an NBA court. “It’s always the same thing.” Added Ayesha, revealing Steph’s cooking skills are limited to making 5 ingredient pasta, which he makes well.

The panel had a good laugh as Ayesha sympathized with her husband. “At least he tries.” Ayesha was happy with the 4-time champion’s effort in the kitchen despite his lack of cooking skills. Ayesha Curry knows good food when she sees it because she is the owner of a Michelin Star restaurant.

Her restaurant International Smoke is a collaboration between her and Chef Michael Mina. The International Smoke opened its doors in 2017 and has turned into a lucrative business for the Curry family.

Several families compete for a grand prize of $100,000 in the ABC show. Ayesha has done wonders with her work as a chef, author, actress, and much more.

Her husband continues to be one of the Greatest players of all time. Despite his lack of cooking skills in the kitchen, Steph has the ability to cook the entire league with his basketball moves. Apart from being an NBA legend, Steph is also a good husband and a great father.
