There has been a lively debate among basketball fans about the role of size in doing well in basketball. Becky Hammon recently commented upon how basketball favors players with a better build and that small-sized players don’t win a championship game. She started with the example of Jalen Brunson, who has been the talk of the town, especially after a stunning 50-point performance.

While Becky got support from the unexpected quarters, the photo of Stephen Curry with his legendary basketball player father, Dell Curry, caught the attention of the fans. Isiah Thmson shared the photograph with an appropriate caption.

As the fans began pointing out that players like 76ers star Allen Iverson, Stephen Curry, and Isiah Thomas have won championships, the latter came in support of Becky. He said that undersized players are not favored in the game. In the words of Isiah, “Facts: sadly this game historically does favor the taller, stronger athlete and when smaller sized people have success, it is more impressive in my opinion. The 1A player has historically been taller players than myself or Steph. We are the outliers.”

Later, Isiah posted his picture with Steph Curry and Dell Curry, which attracted the attention of the fans.

Stephen Curry has revolutionized the basketball game with his precise 3-pointers. He recently crossed the 3500 3-pointer mark. Under the wings of a great great-father who played for 5 franchises in his 16-year NBA career, Stephen has done wonders while scoring beyond the arc.
