Following the recent trend of athletes moving to Saudi Arabia in search of lucrative packages, a Lakers star has decided to follow a similar path. The Chosen One’s appearance in Saudi Arabia has stirred a brouhaha on the internet. After James Harden’s trade request from the Philadelphia 76ers, there were rumors about The Beard receiving a $900 million deal from a Saudi club. LeBron James visits Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia has become an inviting destination for top players across the world. The Middle Eastern sports teams shelled out an impressive amount of money to bag superstar players across the world. Legendary player Cristiano Ronaldo inked a humongous $75 million-per-year contract with the Al Nassr FC. Considering this, Neymar followed suit and agreed to a contract by Al Hilal worth $300 million, along with other opulent perks. Lionel Messi was also offered a lucrative offer. And now, LeBron James is currently visiting Saudi Arabia as a part of the ?Visit Saudi? program. Naturally, ever since a recent video of King James in the Middle East country went viral, the internet has been ablaze with speculations of a possible move to Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia is offering contracts worth more than any player has ever received in the NBA history. In virtue of this, it is understandable if The Akron Hammer decides to sign a contract with them. Basketball is not as developed in Saudi Arabia as it is in America, which can hint at possible steps the country is taking by signing star players to develop the game in their country.
