The Golden State Warriors faced off against the New Orleans Pelicans in a recent Summer League matchup. It was the Pelicans who had the last laugh. During the interview, Hubbarth asked Curry how Chris Paul would fit into the GSW roster. Curry said he is looking forward to teaming up with Paul, as the team has now got a “lot of high IQ guys.”

Curry further said, “Historically, we’ve been successful with, you know, versatility in terms of different skill sets and trying to mesh them all together, obviously centering around coach Kerr’s system. CP has a very defined skill set in what he’s done for his whole career. While he is one of the greatest point guards to play. And the way that he sees the game, I think that will fit anywhere”.

Now the GSW veterans are making headlines for giving Chris Paul a warm welcome. Draymond Green is no different from Curry. He has got high hopes for Chris Paul’s potential to mould youngsters. He went on to say that Paul’s mentorship will work wonders for his team.

However, long before Paul became Green’s teammate, the latter didn’t have the same positive opinion of Paul
