“It’s a great opportunity to be a part of the league in its very early stages. … Growth is going to happen, and so I want to be a part of the growth of this league,” the three-time champion told ESPN.

Gabrielle Breaks Silence

After the widespread growth of the news, Gabrielle Union finally broke her silence about her husband’s latest venture.

She posted an Instagram story with the message “Proud of You”, confirming her enthusiasm for the story.

This won’t be Dwyane Wade’s first involvement in a sports franchise. Most notably, he has been a part of the Utah Jazz. His participation within the franchise has reaped remarkable rewards with the team’s value growing by $500 million since his joining.

The project with the Chicago Sky is one closest to Wade’s heart. He fell in place with the setting and is thrilled to be a part of the team. He already has progressive plans lined up for the development of the franchise. All that’s left is to see whether The Flash will light up the Windy City.
