Recently, the Golden State Warriors star opened up about his college days in North Carolina with The Charlotte Observer. When asked about the wallet incident, the 34-year-old highlighted the effect of the atmosphere on his decision-making. “The Davidson bubble is real ? a standard of taking care of people,” he stated to imply that.

He was on a stroll with his roommate when they “found a wallet on the ground”.?As it contained cash without any identification, the college students decided to utilize the community board to track down its owner. “We had a community board…I had been the beneficiary of it once,”?the point guard mentioned to describe the incident.

They put it up under the ‘lost and found’ category as Stephen became determined to return it to its rightful holder. His persistence paid off as the wallet reached the correct hands. Looking back at the entire situation, he stated, “I was just doing my part to be part of the Davidson community”. The humbleness of the global star was full-on display as it remained intact long after that.
