The rare NBA off day is up and the superstars are spotted catching their breath. One of them is Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James. Hours after impressing the NBA world with his 360-degree spin lay-up, James was back to enjoying the NFL. Every loyal James fan knows that the superstar never shies away from appreciating talent and he didn’t fail to hail Mike Evans. 

It’s a fact that King James is obsessed with the NFL. There are multiple instances in the recent past where he went on and on about the game and its stars through his social media. Especially during the 2023 NBA offseason, James proved that he is a hardcore fan. In the same spirit, the superstar didn’t hold back when it came to recognizing Evans’ brilliance.

LeBron James hails star wide receiver Mike Evans

Following the Thanksgiving break, the NBA players get another break ahead of the Knockout stage of the In-season Tournament. This is one of the two off days the league has planned for the players to be accustomed to the new format within the season. The second holiday is scheduled for Dec 10, a day after the In-season Championship game.

The Lakers have also qualified for the Knockout stage and will take on the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday. As the teams gear up for the new format, LeBron James cooled off, watching the NFL.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Evans completed a massive feat of scaling 1000 yards for the 10th time in his career, which is every single season that he had played. In response, James took to his X handle and gave a shout-out to the star wide receiver. The post read, “I mean cause he’s LIKE THAT!!! A BEAST!! Oh and somebody gone get a MONSTER If they don’t him up! I @MikeEvans13_,” with a flurry of emojis.

Evans’ achievement came in during the Sunday night game against the Carolina Panthers, which the Buccaneers won with a 21-18 margin.

James takes a breather at California

Ahead of his quarter-final game against the Suns, cameras spotted James, chilling at SoFi Stadium, in California. The Lakers superstar was seen stretching his legs as he supported his favorite team, Cleveland Browns. Moreover, the Los Angeles Rams’ official X handle shared a video clip from the stadium where James and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar were featured.

James reposted it and wrote, “Facts!!! A WHOLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEE LOTTA [Buckets],” with a buckets emoji.
