The Colorado Buffaloes’ season has not gone the way they expected. They hired NFL legend Deion Sanders as their head coach before the start of this season in hopes of winning the Championship. Although their season started great, the Buffaloes have now fallen to the 12th spot in PAC-12. The only good thing that came out of the Buffaloes season this year was the performance of Coach Prime’s son, Shedeur Sanders. He climbed the NIL rankings to take the number 2 spot after his impressive performance for the Buffaloes.

But a $94K loss in valuation has pushed Shedeur further away from LeBron James’ son Bronny in the NIL race.

Difference widens between Shedeur Sanders and Bronny James

The Colorado Buffaloes are on a 5-game losing streak. They won their last game in early October and have not been able to figure things out since then. This abysmal run has led to a $94K loss in NIL valuation for their quarterback, Shedeur Sanders. The 21-year-old’s valuation has dropped to $4.4 million. That has widened the gap between him and Number 1 ranked player Bronny James. LeBron’s older son, valued at $5.9 million, comfortably sits in the number 1 spot. Bronny is yet to make his debut for the USC Trojans as he is still recovering from his sudden cardiac arrest earlier this year. Despite him not playing a single game, he has managed to maintain that number 1 spot in the NIL rankings.

Even though Shedeur Sanders is $1.5 million away from catching Bronny, he does not have much to worry about. His jump this season was massive, and he is still the #1-ranked college football player in terms of NIL valuation. Shedeur is ahead of incredible athletes, including Livvy Dunne, Arch Manning, and Caleb Williams.

Shedeur Sanders is a junior in college and he will be eligible to put his name in the 2024 NFL draft. It is still unknown if he will take that leap or play one more year under the leadership of his father, Deion Sanders. Playing under his Hall of Fame father has done wonders for Shedeur, and he might wait another year before heading to the pros.

Bronny James will also be looking to carry his father LeBron James’ legacy forward. Fortunately, he is expected to make a full recovery from his cardiac arrest, and we will soon see him on the court playing for the Trojans. LeBron has talked about playing with his son in the NBA several times, and we might see that dream become a reality in a few years.
