Within 24 hours of announcing a collaboration with Coach Prime, Blenders Eyewear received $1.2 million in pre-orders of their latest sunglasses. The eyewear company reported that they have already sold more than 72,000 units of the sunglasses that Coach Prime wears while coaching the Colorado Buffaloes. Coach Prime’s popularity has grown exponentially, not only because of his elite coaching but also because of his aura off the football field. He gave an inspiring speech in a post-game press conference that even caught the attention of the Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard.

“I’ve been him. I’ve been a difference maker, a game changer. I’ve been that guy.” Sanders said in his speech, motivating youngsters around the world to not care about other people’s opinions and believe in themselves. Damian Lillard approved of Coach Prime’s speech as he shared a video of the NFL legend’s speech on his Instagram story. The speech hit home for Dame as he is in the middle of a trade drama and facing the same problem.
