Netflix has reportedly expressed interest in broadcasting games from the NBA?s new In-Season Tournament. This development would revolutionize the way we consume sports. The report by SBJ also notes that it is still unclear if Netflix is making a serious bid. However, if there is any indication, the NBA league is expanding the IN-season tournament on its own. The NBA said that they are interested in acquiring five partners in the new media deal.?

If the deal goes through, it would be a major pathway for Netflix into four American big sports. And for a lot of star players of the league, who care about their celebrity image a lot. This could be an extra incentive and motivation for them to care for the In-Season tournament more.?
