On Saturday, the Colorado Buffaloes and the Colorado State played out an incredible game of football that was full of storylines and drama. The Buffaloes defeated Colorado State in a thrilling encounter that went to overtime. The Buffaloes were trailing by eleven points before they rallied and tied the game in normal time. With The Buffaloes having all the momentum, Colorado State could stop their spirited comeback. Eventually losing 43-35, in what was a game for the ages.

The game was so interesting that the NBA champion and Bucks superstars watched the game. He even reacted on X (twitter) after the game.

One Heck of a Game

The build-up to this game was all about the rivalry between the teams and also beef between the coaches. Colorado State’s coach Jay Norvell accused the Buffaloes coach of lacking manners. With Colorado and Buffaloes being fierce rivals and the opposition’s coaches not particularly fond of each other, this made the game one of the most anticipated events on the footballing calendar.

And the game did not disappoint in the slightest manner. The game had everything: drama, rivalry, and comeback. Even 2x NBA MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo. By his own admission, Giannis doesn’t watch much football but the quality and competitiveness of the game impressed him. Giannis shared his thoughts on the game on X.com (twitter) “I don’t watch football but that was a heck of a game”.

Fans were left stunned by Giannis talking about football on a public platform. One handle credited the Buffaloes coach, Deion Sanders for this revelation.

But all the comments weren’t as positive as others. Several X.com users accused Giannis and the Bucks of winning a “fluke ring”.

Giannis’s Future Shrouded in Mystery

The Bucks ended last season in a very disappointing manner. Losing to 8th-seeded Miami Heat in the first round of the playoffs. The Bucks were the favorites for the title and for them to lose in the first round of playoffs was nothing short of embarrassing.

In the off-season Giannis has not made things easy for the front office and the Bucks fans. As he is constantly threatening to leave the franchise, if a team able to compete for the NBA Championship is built. Giannis has around two years left on his contract and if he doesn’t sign a new deal, the Bucks risk him losing for nothing.
