Other notable events during the All-Star weekend
The Panini Rising Stars Practice will kick off the All-Star Weekend festivities on February 16, 2024, by 12:30 PM (Eastern Time). Fans can tune in to NBA TV to catch all the action. After the Rising Stars Practice, the NBA TV and the app will air the Basketball Hall of Fame News Conference at 5:30 PM (Eastern Time). Starting at 9:00 PM (Eastern Time), TNT will air the Panini Rising Stars games for fans to enjoy.
Fans can tune in to NBA TV at 11:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Saturday to catch the NBA All-Star practice. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will also hold a press conference on February 17, 2024, at 7:00 PM, Eastern Time. On February 18, 2024, before the highly anticipated All-Star Game, the NBA will host the NBA Legends Awards. The fans can tune in to watch the awards on NBA TV at 11:30 AM (Eastern Time).
Who will play in the All-Star game?
After trying out the captains’ format for the past few seasons, the NBA has reverted to the Eastern Conference vs Western Conference format. The captain for the Eastern Conference is Giannis Antetokounmpo. Whereas, LeBron James becomes the captain of the Western Conference.
