The wife of the Golden State Warriors point guard has done an amazing job at handling her work-life balance. However, that wasn?t always the case.
Ayesha Curry is a full-time working mother. Yet she manages to take out time for her husband and kids amidst her busy schedule. But one thing still looms over her as regret to this day.

Ayesha and Stephen Curry have three beautiful kids they love. And both parents do everything in their power in order to be there for them as well as provide for them in any way possible. But sometimes, it tends to get a bit difficult.
Steph has a grueling 82-game-long NBA season to cater for apart from the playoffs and the pressure of leading an entire city to a championship. Whereas Ayesha has her own line of brands that demand her undivided attention.
In an old podcast of Ayesha Curry: Postpartum Depression, Labor Anxieties & Sister-in-law Advice with Sydel Curry, Ayesha revealed one of the regrets that still looms over her head to this day. During the podcast, Ayesha said, ?One big thing, if you can do it. My biggest regret was not taking a proper maternity leave. You have to do it.?
?I went back to work, he was like 6 weeks old. I was still nursing but I was stressed out so I had to supplement which felt like a huge sacrifice. And I would be on set 15 hours a day for a couple of weeks during this critical time when you?re supposed to be bonding with your baby.?

Ayesha imparts wisdom from her regret
There is nothing worse for a mother than to be away from her newborn baby. And that too in the initial weeks makes it even harder. This is something Ayesha regrets to this day and advises Sydel to not do so.
She went on to say how that time is critical to not only bond with your child but also give your body enough rest in order to come back to normal.
