In a world usually distracted by the flashy lifestyles of the rich and famous, a recent Instagram story from Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s girlfriend Mariah showed the world how being humble is important. With the news about Giannis getting a big money deal, Mariah picked another type of spotlight to show us peeks into their lives. She said something that agreed with a bigger feeling, fighting against ideas connected to the fancy ways of famous athletes.

In a world where rich people have private jets and fancy experiences, this decision to fly with regular travelers is very unusual. This shows great humility. It’s a reminder that, with big money and fame around the world, some people still choose to stay normal. They still enjoy simple things in life.
Mariah is not the only person to talk about this as Giannis has also been vocal about wanting the quiet life away from all the glitz and glamor of the NBA, post-retirement.
