With just 4.5 seconds in the game, the Nets defeated Atlanta on their home court. Trae Young and the Hawks, for their part, tried to use the home-court advantage for victory. But Bridges and co. were single-mindedly determined to take home the win.

Following the game, he took to Instagram with an insane plea that has left Mikal in splits. He wanted Bridges to join Hawks to lead the team to victory. He added the video to his story update with a bunch of laughing emojis. Mikal wouldn’t have laughed this hard before. Let’s take a look at the wild video!

An Atlanta Hawks fan, the rapper/comedian/actor Young Fly, is thoroughly impressed with Nets’ star, Mikal Bridges. Though Brooklyn won, he gives props to the Hawks for their brilliant performance. And he was even more dazzled by the Philly native. So much so that he got the guard’s jersey signed. A very sweaty jersey.

He appeared to be quite thrilled about it in his video. But towards the end, the 31-year-old Atlanta YouTuber gets really emotional. He says, “I got the game-winning jersey! Sh*t! Wrong team! F**k! We were supposed to won. These niggas are good!” And the father of three starts crying.

Bridges avenge their previous loss to the Hawks

The last time the Nets faced Atlanta was on 23rd November. Despite the stunning double-double, with a career-high 45 points, they had to accept defeat. This time, he seemed to be determined to get over the tragic loss. Along with 32 points, he finished the game in style with a step-back jumper.

Tonight’s game was also unique in the sense there were 43 lead changes. That is the largest number of changes since the league started tracking play-by-play (1996). Not to mention the 11 ties that kept the crowd at the edge of their seat.

In fact, the entire match was a lot of back and forth. When it looked like fate was on the Hawks’ side, there was always someone from Brooklyn ready to take the lead or tie the game. Most of which happened during the second half.
