ESPN Analyst Stephen A. Smith was scheduled to be a part of the Ruffles All-Star Celebrity Game tonight as the coach for Team Stephen A. However, Smith suffered an embarrassing moment ahead of the game and had to be rushed to the hospital. He decided to get on the court with Micah Parsons because the NFL star was trash-talking him. Smith slipped while taking a jump shot from the left wing and fell on his ankle.

Despite the injury, Stephen A. Smith made his appearance at the Lucas Oil Stadium for the All-Star Celebrity Game. And this time, he got some reinforcement from Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan.

Stephen A. revealed he was wearing Christian Louboutin red bottom sneakers while playing against Micah Parsons. The sneakers caused the ESPN analyst to lose his footing and injure his ankle. To avoid the same mistake tonight, Stephen A. Smith wore “Bred Reimagined” Air Jordan 4 for the celebrity game. “Michael Jordan sent them, I’m not lying, no exaggeration. He sent them this morning.” He claimed MJ personally sent him new Jordan shoes so he would not injure himself again tonight.

Even though Stephen A. Smith is unlikely to play tonight because he is only a coach, he did not want to take any chances after his accident. The veteran analyst revealed that he only sprained his ankle and did not suffer a broken bone or a major injury. However, he called the incident “quite embarrassing.” Stephen A.’s ugly fall while playing basketball also gave him flashbacks of another embarrassing incident that happened a few months ago.

The Micah Parsons incident is not the first time Stephen A. Smith has embarrassed himself while showing his athletic prowess. He had a similar incident nearly 5 months ago on the MLB pitch.

In September, Stephen A. Smith was picked to throw the first pitch ahead of the Blue Jays vs. Yankees game. The analyst was ready for his moment and wore a Yankees jersey for the occasion. However, his night soon turned into a disaster as the 56-year-old threw an embarrassing one-bounce pitch and went viral for all the wrong reasons.

He was instantly embarrassed by his performance and held his head down in disappointment. “There is no excuse. It was a choke job,” Stephen A. Smith said after the incident. Stephen A. will have a chance to redeem himself tonight as his team will face Team Shannon in the Celebrity game. Micah Parsons will also be playing for Team Shannon, and Stephen A. Smith would hope to come out with a victory and turn his All-Star weekend around.
