The game between the Lakers and the Rockets is scheduled to tip off by 8:00 PM, Eastern Time at the Toyota Center in Houston. The game promises to be a fiercely competitive game, as the 9th-seeded Lakers go up against the 11th-seeded Rockets. Both the teams would look to secure a victory, but the Lakers could be without LeBron and Anthony Davis for the matchup. The Lakers have listed LeBron as questionable for tonight’s game due to a left ankle injury. Furthermore, Davis could also miss the match, as he is currently nursing an Achilles injury.

Apart from AD and LeBron, the Lakers will also miss the services of Cam Reddish due to a right ankle sprain. Reports have suggested that Reddish might remain sidelined for at least two weeks. Moreover, Gabe Vincent remains sidelined because of a knee injury. On the contrary, the Houston Rockets have most of their key players healthy and fit for tonight’s game. However, the Rockets will miss the services of Tari Eason (lower leg) and Victor Oladipo (knee) against the Lakers.

Predicted Lineups: Rockets vs Lakers

The Houston Rockets have surprised many people this season because they weren’t expected to compete for a playoff spot. However, under the leadership of Ime Udoka, the Rockets have become one of the most defensively sound teams in the league. They would look to secure a victory against the Lakers and climb the table to secure a playoff spot, which looked improbable before the start of the season. They could start the game with Fred VanVleet, Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, Cam Whitmore and Alperen Sengun.

The Lakers have been in good form in recent weeks. However, the Rockets pose a formidable task, especially away from home. After a grueling double-OT victory over the Warriors, the Lakers may consider giving LeBron James and Anthony Davis some rest, especially considering the upcoming back-to-back games, including a matchup against the Hawks. However, at the moment, the Rockets look to be the tougher of the two opponents, so there’s a high likelihood that both LeBron and AD play tonight. The Lakers could begin the game with D’Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, LeBron James, Jarred Vanderbilt and Anthony Davis.
