“Little White Kid” Stephen Curry Calls Ex-Warriors Teammate Kevin Durant the “Most Misunderstood Dude in the Fricking League” in an Emotional Moment

The much-awaited Apple TV+ production ‘Underrated’ is finally out. It provides audiences with an intimate look into the eventful life of basketball legend Stephen Curry. The documentary goes in-depth on the point guard’s development into one of the greatest NBA players in history for the Golden State Warriors.

Stephen Curry’s passionate exchange with his former teammate and close friend Kevin Durant is one of the most stirring scenes in “Underrated.” During their time with the Warriors, the duo forged an incredible alliance to help the team win many NBA Championships and establish countless records.

As revealed in the documentary, Durant dropped in to congratulate Curry. As soon as Curry saw Durant, he went, “‘Get the f*ck outta here bro”. This prompts Durant to erupt in laughter. After briefly apologizing to his mother for his language, Curry got back to his former teammate. Durant told Curry that he loved him. “Love you, brother.”

“Love you too dawg,” said Curry embracing Durant.

Following their embrace, Curry brings up an anecdote from the past. “Remember the time you thought I was a white kid? I think about that sh*t all the time yo.” And both start laughing about it. Kevin Durant claimed that he knew Curry would make it. He then said, “Now you that guy.” While Stephen Curry feels that nothing about it makes sense, Durant asked him to “Embrace that sh*t.”

He wished him luck and then went his way. Curry then remarked to one of his associates, “I love that dude, man. Most misunderstood dude in the freaking league right there.”

Even after his departure from the Warriors, there seems to be no bad blood between Curry and Durant.
