The two went on to talk about Dwight Howard?s prowess over Anthony Davis and how he wasn?t in the top-75 yet Davis was. While on the Club Shay Shay podcast, the two made a case for Dwight Howard.
Smith mentioned how Davis, even though was an amazing scorer, did not become relevant till he arrived at the Los Angeles Lakers. On the other hand, Dwight Howard single-handedly led the Orlando Magic to the NBA Finals.
?In his prime, he [Dwight Howard] was one of the five best players in the NBA,? Shannon Sharpe said during the conversation. And Stephen A. Smith could not help but agree to that:??Absolutely. So, I can?t disagree with that.?
?I can say Anthony Davis is a better talent. But it also highlights what you must not be doing. Because a lesser talent that is Dwight Howard was more impactful than you were.?
