Brooks initiated the physical exchange by pushing Vando near the basket, prompting Jarred to retaliate with the same. However, the referees called a foul on Vanderbilt. Frustrated by the turn of events, he proceeded to smack Brooks on the head, leading to an immediate ejection from the game.
