LeBron James has varied interests. From sports to entertainment to spirits. His tequila business Lobos 1707 is reaching new heights as the company plans to expand its reach overseas. An early investor in the company, James has reaped the benefits of its booming business.

It’s a well-known fact that his off-court earnings are what contribute to the majority of his net worth. The most recent hefty $1 billion Nike deal helped him step foot into the billion-dollar club.

Bron’s decisions throughout his life have been as quick-witted as himself. And the results speak for themselves. Lobos 1707 is just another example of the same. Getting ready to open a branch in the UK, LeBron James and co. are excited to start the journey. He had shared the same in his story. And this is the original post, for all of you who might have missed the story update.

An avid lover of quality drinks, the King knew he wanted to be part of Lobos 1707. Founded by Diego Osario, the brand took a complete turnaround with King James’s addition. James, along with Maverick Carter, Rich Paul, a few other players (Anthony Davis, Draymond Green), and investment firm Torch Capital, all joined hands to create the Lobos we know now.

The Akron Hammer’s presence in itself was the biggest marketing the brand could get. But it was, in fact, the quality of the beverage itself that has taken the brand to great heights. After all, it is what got LeBron on board as well. And he is very picky when it comes to the spirits he puts in his stomach.

Bron’s tequila business might just outscore his Nike earnings

Lobos 1707 has generated $1.7 million in revenue since his investment in the brand. Spanish for ‘wolf’, Lobos encapsulates the values and passion that LeBron James stands for. Even though he is an intuitive businessman, he looks further than the money when investing.

“Lobos 1707 is about celebrating the strength of the group and bringing people together. It’s about shared passion and values. I love sipping Tequila with my friends, and we want a brand that speaks to us,” he had said. That said, all his investments have been a great success. And his agave spirit venture might just bring in more profit than his lifetime Nike deal.

With the expansion to the United Kingdom, it’s only natural that the earnings generated will be higher. The recent $1.7 million update is proof of the same. It is only a matter of time before James takes to his Instagram to post a story on how the UK market for Lobos 1707 has generated more profit.
