Disappointment looms over the Lakers as LeBron James is starting to feel the effects of Year 21. Following the All-Star break, the LA Lakers, which seemed to have found the form, have again found themselves in a slump. In their latest outing against the Sacramento Kings, the young side completely ousted the Purple & Gold and took home a comfortable victory. Now, the LA side is in for more battles with the Warriors for the 9th spot in the West. On top of it, they have injury trouble with LeBron James.

Last night, King James exited the action mid-way and walked straight into the locker room with 4 minutes left in the game. While the superstar’s injury status wasn’t clear, the latest report revealed that the star seemed to have aggravated his ankle injury. Moreover, he has been listed in the Questionable category for the upcoming game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

James has been dealing with his ankle injury throughout this season and missed multiple games as well. Recently, during the All-Star game, he suffered an ankle injury and missed the entire second half. And also missed the first game after the ASG against the Golden State Warriors. Nevertheless, it doesn’t take away the greatness that he consistently displays on the court.

Despite the injury scare and the age factor, The Akron Hammer has been competing at the highest level. Even in his 21st season, James leads the Lakers points column, averaging 25.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and 8 assists per game. Moreover, he has also shown promising signs regarding his ankle injury, following the Sac game.

Bron said, “I’ll be all right… It’s just my ankle. It’s just what I’ve been dealing with before the [ASG] break, after the break. I’m just managing it the best way I can,” during his interaction with reporters.
