LeBron James, at 39, still has an unyielding passion for the game of basketball. Even in his 21st season, King James seems as hungry as ever to play and talk about basketball. This has been clearly evident in his new Podcast series with former NBA veteran JJ Redick called ‘Mind the Game‘. Fans of the league have been raving about it ever since the first episode was on the air, where both these hoopers break down the ins and outs of the game to a T.

However, Joe Budden, who always stirs up controversy about other Hip Hop stars, now has a hot take on Bron. In his latest pod, Budden discussed how King James’ podcast might have started from something other than his love for basketball.  “Dawg, you’re(LeBron James) not talking about none of that. If homie was happy I’m sorry, hey if everything was good there would be none of this JJ Reddick in the mind of Wilt Chamberlain basketball sh*t you on. It would be none of that, “ says the former Rapper.

Budden follows his outrageous claims with the fact “That Savannah Miss James is starting a podcast also so now she has a podcast.” Is Joel simply goofing around or is there truth to his claims? The casual fans will never get an answer, as both Mr. and Mrs. James are notoriously tight-lipped about their personal lives. However, Budden’s predictions are probably wild hyperboles, and both of them simply have a podcasting passion. As of now, another episode of ‘Mind the Game‘ has dropped and fans are all for it!

Highlights from the latest LeBron James and JJ Reddick Podcast

The podcast’s second episode featured LeBron James discussing his frustration with younger NBA players’ one-on-one mindset. He criticized the trend of players prioritizing individual matchups over teamwork, emphasizing the importance of involving teammates and making intelligent reads against extra defenders. James lamented the lack of focus on team play among some players, highlighting the need to learn to read defensive schemes and instill confidence in teammates.

In the end LeBron said, “Most great teams are going to send help, and can you make the right reads? Can you instill confidence in your teammates when you’ve scored twice in that favorable matchup? Do you know that the double is coming? … Some guys don’t wanna learn and won’t learn because they just wanna play ones.”  Do you agree with LeBron?
