The Lakers and the Suns have started their NBA season in contrasting fashion. The Suns defeated the Golden State Warriors in their season opener. Whereas, the reigning champions, the Denver Nuggets dealt the Lakers a humbling loss. The Suns were impressive in their opening fixture against the Warriors, as they won the game without Bradley Beal.

The Suns would look to continue their impressive start to the season with a win over their division rivals, Lakers. But the Suns have had some major injury concerns leading up to today’s game against the Lakers.

The Phoenix Suns began their season with an impressive win over the Warriors on October 24th. In a tightly contested matchup, the Suns emerged victorious with a 108-104 win, led by Devin Booker’s 32-point performance.

In contrast, the Lakers suffered a defeat in their season opener against the Nuggets, with LeBron’s 21-point effort not enough to secure a victory for the Lakers. The two title rivals are set to face each other later tonight at the Crypto.com Arena. But the main topic of discussion surrounding the game is the availability of star man, Bradley Beal.

Due to a lower back issue, Beal was absent in the Suns’ win against the Warriors. In his absence, reserve guard Grayson Allen didn’t manage to score even a single point in the 21 minutes he played. The Suns have suffered another setback, as both Beal and Booker have been listed as doubtful for their game against the Lakers. The Lakers will also miss the services of Jarred Vanderbilt and rookie, Jalen Hood-Schifino. Both the players missed the Lakers’ first game against Denver.
