The Los Angeles Lakers blew past the San Antonio Spurs in the last game without their superstar LeBron James in the lineup. James was ruled out of the game due to a left calf contusion. According to the latest injury report from the Los Angeles Lakers, Anthony Davis has been ruled out of tonight’s game against the Spurs. He has been playing with a lingering hip injury for some time and is getting some time to recover. Meanwhile, LeBron James is back in the lineup to replace his co-star after missing the last game due to a calf injury. This will be the first meeting between LeBron James and 19-year-old Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama. Apart from Anthony Davis, Cam Reddish and D’Angelo Russell have also been ruled out from tonight’s game. However, the Lakers will have Taurean Prince and Jarred Vanderbilt in the lineup to make up for their absence. Anthony Davis and D’Angelo Russell’s absence could cost their team the game.
AD has been playing at an elite level recently. He has had three consecutive 35+ points games and D’Angelo has also been a solid scorer for the Lakers. So, LeBron James and co. will need somebody to step up in their absence.
