The Los Angeles Lakers are finally starting to figure things out. They played great in the last two games and defeated two elite teams, OKC Thunder and Dallas Mavericks. LeBron James and Co. are looking to extend their winning streak and get back in the playoff picture. The Lakers will face the Brooklyn Nets on Friday.
However, a concerning update about LeBron James and Anthony Davis in the Lakers injury report might ruin their chances of coming out with a win tomorrow.

According to the latest injury report by the Lakers, LeBron James’ status for tomorrow’s game is questionable. The 4-time Champion is dealing with a left ankle peroneal tendinopathy, which might cause him to miss the clash against the Nets. LeBron’s co-star Anthony Davis’ status for tomorrow’s game is probable as he is dealing with a bilateral Achilles tendinopathy. If either one of the two superstars misses Friday’s game, it will be a massive blow for the struggling Lakers squad.

The Lakers duo has been consistent throughout the season and kept them afloat amid their turbulent season. This year is the first time since the Lakers’ Championship season in 2020 that LeBron and AD have stayed healthy at the same time for such a long stretch. AD is having one of the best seasons of his career, averaging 25.2 points, 12.2 rebounds and 2.5 blocks. King James continues to defy Father Time, averaging 24.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 7.6 assists at 39 years old.
Laker Nation is hoping for the duo to suit up on Friday against the Nets.

Not only are LeBron and AD on the Lakers injury report, but a few other key pieces will also be missing from the lineup on Friday. Forward Cam Reddish has been ruled out of tomorrow’s game due to injury. Reddish has missed the last two games due to left knee effusion and is still recovering from the injury. He has played in 33 games this season and has been in the Lakers’ starting lineup 26 times. Reddish has proven to be a solid two-way player, but injuries have slowed down his progress immensely.

Another player on the Lakers’ injury report is Gabe Vincent. The 27-year-old guard has played only 5 games this season. He underwent knee surgery last month and is expected to miss a few weeks to recover from it. The Lakers added Vincent to their roster last summer after witnessing his impressive performance with the Miami Heat last season. He averaged 12.7 points in the 2023 playoffs and helped Jimmy Butler and Co. reach the NBA Finals.
