Kyrie Irving had one hell of a turbulent year in his last season in the league. Not only was the NBA player constantly slammed on social media for his off-court actions but the multiple-time All-Star was suspended by the Brooklyn Nets for it as well. Yet, the star point guard came back stronger than ever and still had a great individual performance.
Kyrie Irving got a fresh start when he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks. Despite the team missing out on the playoffs, a former NBA champion has high expectations from Irving and even claims he?ll make the All-NBA team.

Kyrie Irving?s last season with the Brooklyn Nets did not go well. He already had missed substantial time during the COVID-19 restrictions but this past season, the water may as well have gone over Irving?s head.
Though he got a trade to the Dallas Mavericks, the team spiraled down even further after his arrival. They had a bitter and early end to the season. But now, former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins believes that Irving will have a great year ahead.
In a recent episode of NBA Today, Perkins said, ?A motivated Kyrie Irving that’s going to get a fresh starting training camp with a coach that he respects.?
Perkins brought up the point of Irving playing under the right head coach. He mentioned that he had immense respect for Tyron Lue but not for Steve Nash or Brad Stevens. But he?ll have the same amount of respect for Jason Kidd in Dallas.
The former Boston Celtics center went on to add, ?You saw a motivated Kyrie Irving that’s ready to prove the world wrong with the skinny Luka. I’m looking at Kyrie Irving to be an all-NBA caliber player this season.?
Irving seems more than ready for next season
The whole fuzz around Kyrie Irving started when a basketball fan page stated that Irving hasn?t accomplished much since his last season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Irving went on to Twitter and tweeted, ?Pin this tweet and see what happens in the next few years. H?l?.?

So, by the looks of it, Irving does seem motivated to prove the naysayers wrong. But only time will tell if the 2016 NBA champion can add another ring to his trophy case.?
