Kyrie Irving pours all the love for Jaylen Brown. The Boston Celtics star not only rocked the All-Star weekend with his dunks and ASG, but also with a kind gesture. JB took the pride in sporting the Dallas Mavericks star’s latest ANTA KAI 1 signature shoe during the ASG. In response to that, Irving showered Brown with love during tonight’s post game press conference.
Uncle Drew said, “Shout out to JB. He is one of my tribal brothers… I am just grateful that he took the opportunity to showcase KAI 1. Such a selfless act.”

Kyrie Irving had a controversial past when it comes to sneakers. Before teaming up with Anta, Irving was a sporting his own signature lines from Nike. However, it came to an end recently after he was criticized for antisemitic stance. The league issued a suspension and Nike also withdrew its deal with the 8x NBA All-Star.
Following that, Uncle Drew sported strapped up sneakers, hiding the swoosh logo. This went for a while, until Irving signed a huge five-year deal with the Chinese brand, Anta, last year.
In addition to his partnership with the brand, he also became the Chief Creative Officer of Anta Basketball. The baller even took a trip to China to promote his new collaboration and also met the fans, factory workers, and the leaders. Importantly, Irving wasn’t alone during this transition period. All throughout his suspension saga, he didn’t single shoulder to lean on from the league except for Jaylen Brown.

Speaking of JB’s support in The Ringer article, Irving said, “He was one of the main ones that really stood beside me… Just telling me like, ‘You know, it’s going to be all right. There’s peace of mind at the end of this road, but I want to let you know that you’re not alone in this.’”
