Kyle Kuzma sent out a positive message to the NBA world after the comeback win. The Washington Wizards hosted the in-form Sacramento Kings for the Thursday night challenge. Kuzma & Co entered the game with a 5-game losing streak and were expected to make it 6. But, The District side had something else in their mind.
The star forward led the team to a comfortable 109-102 victory by anchoring the side with 31 points and 6 rebounds. Kuzma isn’t new for dropping cryptic posts in an attempt to reflect his mind to his followers and tonight wasn’t any different. He took to his X handle, and wrote, “Future.”

While there isn’t any clarity on the intention behind the post, it is believed to be a post, denoting the team’s future. The team has had a difficult run this season losing 58 games, most in the NBA. The Detroit Pistons looked like the team that would end up with a poor record after their embarrassing losing stretch, but unfortunately, the Wizards superseded them.
The Washington side has been struggling in the last four seasons and barely even made it to the postseason. Interestingly, the team had all the required firepower to be a championship side. Before this season, they had Kristaps Porzingis and Bradley Beal by their side and still ended up as the 12th seed.
In this season, the team roped in Jordan Poole from the Warriors but he couldn’t make the necessary impact. Poole Party and Kyle Kuzma were expected to make the strong duo but ended up falling short. However, almost at the end of the season, Kuzma seemed to have found the “Future” with this team. Hopefully, this post doesn’t backfire on him like it did him in the past.
Will this post backfire Kyle Kuzma?
There are a couple of occasions when Kuzma’s X posts have backfired on him. One of the recent ones was about the Detroit Pistons. During the initial phase of the season, the Pistons had one of the worst seasons, chasing an embarrassing record. In response to that, he wrote, “At this point its like “dont be that team””

Little did he know that his very own team would have a record worse than the Pistons. Similarly, in 2019, he took to his Twitter (Currently known as X) and wrote, “Karma” after Klay Thompson injured his knee. Following that post, thousands of fans swarmed his comments section to condemn the star.
