Klay Thompson Denies Warriors Rookies Their Christmas Gifts For Greater Benefit

A day after the Golden State Warriors expressed emotions about their former teammate Jordan Poole playing against them, they had a wonderful night against the Portland Trail Blazers. Stephen Curry’s men registered an impressive 126-106 win. Klay Thompson was the man of the moment as he tallied 28 points and 3 rebounds in his 36-minute play. And after the game, Thomson was inch-perfect in dunking jokes in his post-match interview.

Thompson looked happy with the Christmas vibes filling the air. As he talked about the Christmas gifts, he already handed over Klay Thompson’s packaged jokes to his audience.

Klay Thompson’s 3-pointer joke

Klay Thompson was asked if there were any gift exchanges in the team to dig into the Christmas spirit. Thompson shared that rookies are not going to get any gifts. TJD and Podziemski are the two-star rookies in the Warriors ranks. They added 13 and 15 points, respectively. Klay had some sharp humor to share, “A lot of people will not be getting a gift.” He had these words for the rookies,“The rookies just get to be, you know, benefitted with my presence,”  

Thomson had these words for the rookies: “The rookies just get to benefit from my presence.” Further, he added,Klay Thomson shared how he is going to be the Santa Claus for his dog this year, “He does have a stocking. He’s got some rabbit jerky in there. He’s got some good stuff. So Rocco is well taken care of.”

Klay Thompson was brilliant with his humor as he was with the shooting. He hit six 3-pointers in the game and missed only four. But it was not the first time that fans had witnessed such wonders from the Warrior.
