The Los Angeles Lakers led by LeBron James and powered by Anthony Davis have added another feather to their cap by winning the inaugural NBA In-Season tournament. The victory lifted their spirits for the long run and modestly filled each player’s pockets with a cool $500,000. LeBron contributed 24 points and 11 rebounds. It was an AD takeover who made the game’s highest 41 points, put on a defensive clinic, and grabbed 20 rebounds on both ends.
But right after the Lakers grabbed the cup, comedian Kevin Hart had some serious advice for LeBron and Co.

Kevin Hart joined “The Plastic Cup Boyz” at ESPN to watch and react to the finals game. As the party started after the final buzzer, Kevin said, “If I was in the Lakers right now, I would say this feeling is an amazing feeling. Imagine what the feeling with the big trophy feels like. Let’s take this moment, let’s get more focused.” While it is important to enjoy the great feeling of In-Season triumph, in the end, it’s all about the Larry O’Brien championship trophy. And the Lakers need to keep that in mind.
It’s clear that the Lakers are aggressively playing offensively and defensively but now that 75% of the regular season is left, they have to go head-on with the best of the league. The Las Vegas showdown had all the glimpses of how the Lakers are a capable team and are strong contenders this season.

A quick recap of the finals
AD was in beast mode and dominated on both ends of the court. If Bron is on offense, Davis anchors the defense, operating like a middle linebacker and orchestrating smooth rotations. Anthony Davis was without a doubt the best player on the court. So for the rest of the season, his focus may shift to the DPOY award. LeBron added a new accomplishment to become the In-Season MVP. Austin Reaves remained at a great tempo and made 28 points in the game. Cam Reddish made 7 points out of his total 9 in the 4th quarter. He grabbed 2 offensive rebounds. It was a collective, all-rounded effort for the first milestone of this season.
