The Golden State Warriors team under the Steve Kerr-Stephen Curry era reached its peak between 2016-19. The Dubs almost pulled off a three-peat in those three years. Importantly, Kevin Durant played a huge role in that dream run, with two Finals MVPs. However, KD found his way out after three years because of one particular moment involving Draymond Green. Slim Reaper would later recount the breaking point leading to the end of the Warriors dynasty.
It’s no doubt that DrayMagic has had a lot of beef with his teammates. To name a few, Jordan Poole and Jonathan Kuminga are the latest to join the list. Nevertheless, Green’s beef with Durant had a costly effect on the Dubs, as they went on to have two poor seasons. Even the pundits called it the end of the Warriors dynasty.

Almost every loyal member of the Dubnation will remember the ugly courtside altercation between Kevin Durant and Draymond Green from 2018. And importantly, many IG pages had created a lot of video content out of it in the last few years.
During a regular season game against the Los Angeles Clippers, Green had the possession of the ball in the final few seconds of the game with scores tied at 106. While everyone expected the star forward to pass the ball to his teammates, he cruised past his teammates and ended up turning over before the paint. Following the turnover, the bench looked in utter chaos before entering the court for overtime.
Responding to the incident, KD narrated the whole incident in a podcast show in 2019. He described how Green steamed off after the fourth quarter and went at him. Durant later added, “For him to say that type of sh** to me, it just took me for a loop. I just started isolating myself after that. I feel like nobody really talked about it and it was swept under the rug.”
KD revealed his intentions to settle the issue to continue the dynasty. “We can move past it but let’s all talk about it.” But, unfortunately, it didn’t happen.

Moreover, it sure did cost a lot for the side, as they went on to produce a poor record of 15-50 in 2019-20 series.
Green’s recent beef with Kuminga
Kuminga has been producing great numbers coming off the bench for the Warriors. However, a recent report suggested that Green and Kuminga have a poor relationship. Additionally, some fans feel, Green could probably send the promising star away after the Poole’s exit.
