The Draymond Green suspension saga doesn’t seem to find its closure. Weeks after his return, the Golden State Warriors star forward, dug it out again. This time, it was directed at his former teammate, Kevin Durant. Featuring on the latest episode of 7PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony & Kid Mero, Green poured his heart out speaking about the Slim Reaper’s response to the ugly on-court incident.

In December 2023, DrayMagic swung his arm at Phoenix Suns‘ Jusuf Nurkic during a play and received an indefinite suspension. Following the game, the Dubs star received a lot of backlash and criticisms thrown at him, including KD. Durant didn’t hesitate to throw a shade at his former teammate on TV. He said, “That was insane to see… I hope Draymond gets the help that he needs.”

Soon after the incident, the league laid out an indefinite suspension on the star. And after missing 12 straight games, Green returned to the Warriors fold after seeking necessary professional help. However, he doesn’t seem to have forgotten KD’s words. Speaking in the podcast, he described his current relationship with the Suns superstar. Amid his praise, he also addressed the thorn that is stuck in his chest.
