The Phoenix Suns star has been revered as one of the very best in the NBA. So it becomes obvious that Durant will have impressive stats by his side. However, the 2x NBA champion has often been in the crosshairs of pundits as they believe that he needs to step up his game in accordance with his superstar status. Regardless of all the noise, KD’s numbers speak for him and as per his stats, he has been a brilliant athlete. Recently, he crossed 27,000 career points and during his current game against the Philadelphia 76ers, KD has surpassed 7000 career rebounds.

While this is an impressive number, the distance from the top is huge for KD. The top spot is occupied by the legendary Wilt Chamberlain who sits with 23,924 rebounds. Chamberlain is followed by Bill Russell who boasts 21,620 career rebounds. The dominance of our NBA veterans is such that none of the active players can break into the top 25 spot. From Chamberlain, and Russell to Tim Duncan, and Charles Barkley, the list includes some of the biggest names in the NBA’s history.

The active player with the most rebounds is LeBron James, who has 10,713 rebounds. KD with 7000 rebounds, his next target should be overtaking King James for the record as an active player.
