Kendrick Perkins Passes Down Celtics Legend’s Advice to Anthony Davis, Dismissing LeBron James’ Bold Claim

Anthony Davis might be one of the most inconsistent superstars in the league. In some games, AD looks like the best player in the NBA. While in others, he can hardly put up points on the board. The same happened during the LA Lakers’ last game against the Sacramento Kings. De’Aaron Fox and Co. blew out the Lakers 125-110 as Anthony Davis played one of his worst games of this season. He finished with only 9 points and 9 rebounds. AD caught a lot of heat from the fans and the media because of his inconsistent performances.

But LeBron James recently claimed that AD does not listen to the noise as he stays away from social media. Former NBA Champion Kendrick Perkins dismissed LeBron’s claim and passed down a Celtics legend’s advice to Anthony Davis.

Kendrick Perkins has some wise words for Anthony Davis

The LA Lakers are set to face the Portland Trail Blazers in their third in-season tournament game. And Kendrick Perkins had some advice for Anthony Davis that Big Perk received from Celtics legend Kevin Garnett during his playing days. “When you have a good game, don’t run home to see what they say about you in the media. Do the same thing when you have a bad game, Anthony Davis, and then go out there and do something about it. You know why? Coz it shows that you give a damn.” Big Perk said, dismissing King James’ claim about AD not listening to the noise.

When healthy, Anthony Davis is one of the best Big Men in the NBA. He has played great for the majority of this season, averaging 22.1 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 3.4 blocks. But his performance in some of the games has left the viewers questioning his credibility.

The Lakers are currently ranked 7th in the Western Conference standings with a 6-6 record. But they have been undefeated in the in-season tournament games and are at the top of their group with two wins. The Lakers’ in-season tournament group includes Phoenix, Utah, Portland, and Memphis. The Lakers are one of the top contenders to win the inaugural NBA Cup after their impressive performance in the in-season tournament games.
