In the latest episode of Point Forward with Andre Iguodala and Evan Turner, young stars Donavan Mitchell and Jaylen Brown were guests. At the end of the interview, Iggy asks Brown about “disruptors” in the sneaker world and his take on the matter.


“Why haven’t you signed a deal, and you know what’s on your mind there?”?asked Iggy. Brown said that he is unhappy with how major companies function, and having no “creative control” or say over how a player’s “narrative?is being projected” out in the world isn’t to his liking. Furthermore, he stated,? “How it ends right, once you get to the end of those deals where maybe your influence has dropped and they’re looking at the new one, how do they treat you on the way out.”

In the end, the Celtics star mentions another NBA star, Like I didn’t have conversations with Tracy McGrady, with T-Mac who’s no longer with Adidas, who had one of the best-selling Adidas shoes of all time.”?
