“Jaylen Brown Poked the Bear”: Dub Nation Grills Celtics All-Star as Stephen Curry Drags Warriors to OT Win

The NBA world has been caught up with Ja Morant and his comeback game against the Pelicans. Meanwhile, The Chef had one of the better comeback games against the Boston Celtics. 

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors came back from a deficit to force the game into overtime, winning it all. And all of that may have been instigated due to Jaylen Brown’s one mistake.

Stephen Curry takes over the game once again

The Boston Celtics just lost to the Warriors in overtime with a 126-132 final score. A game that was well in the Celtics bag was turned around at the hands of Stephen Curry, all due to Jaylen Brown.

During the third quarter, Jaylen Brown was being defended by a smaller Curry. Brown decided to take Curry to the post and finish with an and-one play. Not only was that foul Curry’s fifth, but Brown also decided to hit the ‘Too Small’ taunt after the play.

And that was all it took for Curry to go into his bag and turn the ball game around. Fans on social media took notice of that too as Curry rallied the Warriors into overtime and then eventually won the game.

One fan page on X posted, “Jaylen Brown poked the bear.”

All of the Celtics’ five starters finished the game in double-digits. Derrick White led Boston with 30 points, followed by Jaylen Brown’s 28. Yet, that wasn’t enough for the Celtics to take down the Warriors.

Despite earning five fouls late in the third, Stephen Curry managed to finish the game. Not only did he finish the game, but he led the Warriors with a 33-point performance that ended in an overtime victory.
