The Monday night game turned out to be a special win for the Boston Celtics, defeating their arch rivals on a Christmas Day game. Every single player in the Celtics starting line-up scored a minimum of 18 points to dominate the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena. However, Jaylen Brown took it to another level when he disrespected the Lakers legend Kobe Bryant’s iconic Christmas shoe with the Nike, while he sported the new creation of Kanye West.
There is an unspoken tussle between the global footwear giant and the Celtics star since 2022. Brown openly expressed his disdain for the brand, following their decision to end their relationship with Kyrie Irving. While Irving moved on from the issue and signed up with Anta, Brown still seemed to be displeased with the brand. Let’s find out more about it in detail.

The Celtics completed the game on a high, restricting the Lakers for a 126-115 win. Kristaps Porziņģis led the Celtics offense with 28 points, supported by Jayson Tatum and Brown with 25 and 19 points, respectively. While the game seemed to be the highlight of the day, Brown’s off-court activity took center stage.
Brown sported the iconic Nike’s Kobe 6 Reverse Grinch for the Christmas Day game against the Lakers, but with a twist. We know the Nike shoes for their iconic Swoosh logo and Brown sported the shoe without it.
This act further added substance to the Brown-Nike beef speculation. He also took to his IG handle and shared a picture of holding the swoosh-less shoe on his stories. Along with it, he also uploaded a series of photos with the swoosh-less shoe on IG.
