Ja Morant is back. The Memphis Grizzlies superstar finally made his highly anticipated season debut tonight against the New Orleans Pelicans. Morant missed the first 25 games of the season because he was suspended by the NBA for detrimental conduct to the league. While many expected the point guard to be a little rusty following the long break, Ja dominated the game like he never left.

Morant decimated the New Orleans Pelicans and had fun while doing it. Ja sent the NBA world into a frenzy after he hit Pelicans guard, Jose Alvarado, with a ‘too small’ celebration after scoring on him with a nasty move.

New Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado tried to contain Ja Morant on defense, but the Grizzlies superstar was unstoppable in his season debut. Ja scored a tough layup through contact over Alvarado and hit him with the ‘too small’ celebration. Fans were ecstatic after Ja’s disrespectful celebration and went into a frenzy. One fan wrote, “He’s really back.”

The NBA World followed suit. Fans celebrated Ja’s return and claimed that the NBA is more fun when he is playing.

Ja was suspended by Adam Silver after he was seen holding a firearm on social media twice. He got suspended for 8 games the first time but repeated his mistake a few weeks later.
