Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving has had a rollercoaster of a journey in the last season. The star faced severe backlashes for his controversial comments on social media. Since then, Irving has mostly stayed low key with his social media presence. However, lately the 8x NBA All-Star has been active with ambiguous messages. He shared a cryptic tweet hours after a veteran ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith took a sly dig at him over Russell Westbrook.
Two days ago, Irving took to his Instagram stories and shared a special post for the Los Angeles Clippers star. He shared a video clip highlighting Westbrook’s best plays from the past along with a message: “Let’s not pretend this Dude right here didn’t revolutionize the Game and inspire us all to do things YOUR way and say fu** em all.” While the comments section of the video post acknowledged Irving’s concern, Smith didn’t seem to be happy with that.

Moreover, he added, “Irving… needs to realize the time for stuff like that is when it’s over.” While the Mavs star didn’t respond to the sly dig thrown at him immediately, he shared cryptic tweet.
The tweet read, “Stay aware of what’s going on out here my people. Don’t let the matrix take you away from GOD/LOVE. EVER. Hélà.”
