In a recent PBS telecast, Stephen Curry was joined by “Black Panther”?director Ryan Coogler. The host asked him about the motivation behind associating himself with Steph’s project.

Coogler replied, “Being a Warriors fan, I owe Steph a lot of favors. I owe him a lot of debt. He’s been responsible for a lot of pride and just good times.

Coogler has worked on projects like Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,?Fruitvale Station and the last sequels of Creed. His impressive resume has netted him a value of about $36 million. Notably, he also produced Underrated alongside Curry’s production house, Unanimous Media.

Of course, the esteemed director is not the first person to recognize Steph’s accomplishments.

Coach McKillop played a pivotal role in Steph’s success

Bob McKillop didn’t take long to recognize the talent in a young Stephen Curry. As Curry says, “he built me up and saw me, my potential more than I ever saw for myself at the time.”?
