LeBron James is the only active player/billionaire in the league. Owning a minority share in the English Premier League soccer club Liverpool FC, he has now broadened his investment portfolio to another sport. He currently sits at a net worth of over $1B and he is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.

One of his former teammates, who also happens to own a part of another $212,000,000 million worth soccer team in the EPL, recently destroyed an online critic with one tweet.

LeBron James has been part of the league for so long that he has played with over 200 different teammates in 20 seasons. But who is his teammate who owns a part of a soccer club? Well, during his last season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Cavs traded Isaiah Thomas, Channing Frye, and a 2018 first-round draft pick in exchange for Larry Nance Jr. and Jordan Clarkson. The season ended on a bad note for the team, forcing James to move to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Nance played with the Cavs for the following 3 seasons and eventually got traded to the Portland Trail Blazers. Then he was traded again to New Orleans, where he plays now. Over time, Nance Jr. looked for investment opportunities, and currently, his net worth ranges around $15M with his annual earning of $11M from the Pelicans.? His involvement in an EPL team further expands his portfolio as an investor. But the question is how did he land the ownership role?

The owners of the San Francisco 49ers football team, along with NBA players Larry Nance Jr. and T.J. McConnell, agreed to take over the English soccer club Leeds United. They already owned a 44 percent stake, which they acquired in 2018. Now, they have bought the remaining 56 percent of the club for 170 million pounds ($214 million).

Larry Nance Jr destroys a critic on social media

Recently, a sports page posted a story that highlighted a report saying Pelicans star forward Zion Williamson has no interest in developing a floater and pull-up jumper in his game. Nance Jr. was quick to defend his All-Star teammate.

In response to this tweet, Nance responded, “I don?t understand the constant attempt to drag Z?s name… I?m in the gym with this dude all season and he?s consistently putting in work on his touch, jumper, and skill shots.”

Clearly, Larry felt that fans were out to get Williamson and had to tell them just how wrong they were about his work ethic.

He concluded the tweet with, “These dudes need to stop putting out fake stories just for clicks. It?s pathetic.”

However, some fans didn’t seem to like him defending his teammate, a critic wrote, “Says the dude that?s only relevant because of his dad ????? respect yo elders and stay in yo lane bruh??

This was something that felt like an irony coming from a Leeds United fan. Nance did not miss the opportunity. In response to this, the Pelicans forward simply tweeted, “My child? I literally own your favorite team”
