He scored 20 points in 28 minutes against the 76ers, as he helped the Pelicans win after they suffered two consecutive losses at the hands of the Jazz. Following his remarkable comeback, CJ McCollum spoke about his recovery in the post-match conference. He said, “I felt like an old person. I was on oxygen for a while. I looked at my wife and I was like, ‘Is this what it’s gonna be like when I’m older?’ Like pushing the oxygen to the bathroom and stuff.”

Securing a win against the Sixers propelled them to the 8th position in the Western Conference standings, with a record of 10 wins and 9 losses.
