LeBron James is a total fan of Deion Sanders. These days we don’t see a day without LBJ making a Coach Prime reference. In fact, he has made his personality around the red-hot Colorado Buffaloes coach. His timeline is adorned by Sanders and boy, wouldn’t James have loved a coach like him? His admiration for his shoes to his winning mentality all are brimming in James’ head. He acknowledges this greatness each day and can’t help but bring him up, even when he drops his new sneakers.

In another such example, King James loves what Coach Prime had to say.

Ever since entering the NBA just after high school, James has been under intense scrutiny. Because of comparisons with Jordan and then Kobe, diehards of both players have gone after him. Not only that, he has gotten a lot of heat from analysts, former players, and many other personalities. This is just a part and parcel of being an athlete of his stature. Therefore, by now, he must have had a mechanism.

While referring to a Coach Prime quote, King LeBron did shed light on his methodology. The Forward apparently doesn’t “forget a dang on thing”.

With the regular season just a month away or so, LBJ will be more than eager to prove his doubters wrong again. Since he is going to be 39 in December, injury concerns have increased. Last season, he missed 27 games but was ready for prime-time, when the Playoffs arrived. He led the Lakers to the West Finals.

With this season’s load management, Bron can once again recreate something like that. With the West being a little off last season, he can shoot up his chances further. In the process, haters are going to get burned naturally. One thing is for sure, Coach Prime is providing fuel for James’ mentality.

The Lakers didn’t go after any big-name free agents this summer. Why should they? They have James and Davis, and last season returnee D’Angelo Russell and an emerging star Austin Reaves. An amped-up Hachimura, and a hustle player Jarred Vanderbilt. Apart from that, the team nabbed Gabe Vincent, a solid starting guard, and another hustler Jaxson Hayes. Taurean Prince is the cherry on the top.

Overall, if this lineup clicks, then LeBron James can even afford to miss out on 30 games. However, it is a long season and we haven’t begun yet.
