Over the past four seasons, injuries have plagued the LA Clippers at the most inopportune moments. The LA team features two of the league’s premier offensive and defensive talents, Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. Arrived in the 2019-20 season, the duo have since become the organization’s cornerstone. Over the years, the Clippers’ front office has assembled a fine group of role players and a supporting cast; however, the dynamic duo has yet to spend quality time on the court.

Injury setbacks have hindered the Clippers’ championship aspirations over nearly half a decade. So far, the team’s deepest playoff run only reached the Western Conference Semifinals, accomplished without the presence of Kawhi Leonard. A healthy Kawhi would have made them instant championship contenders and provided a significant boost to the team’s overall morale.

As the interview continued, PG made a bold declaration. He states that if the Clippers maintain good health, they have the potential to secure a top-two spot in the Western Conference.
