Drake, one of the music industry’s most prolific musicians, stunned fans with his latest album, “For All The Dogs,” which arrived on Friday, October 6th. The album has a lot of features with top-tier rap artists like J Cole, 21 Savage, Lil Yachty, etc. Many basketball players, like Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, have expressed their admiration for the album.

However, accompanying the album announcement, Drake made a shocking admission that shocked many of his fans.

Drake addressed details of his choice to take a break from music in an honest talk on his SiriusXM podcast, “Table For One“. He shared, “I probably won’t make music for a little bit. I’m gonna be honest. I might, I got some other things I need to do for some other people that I made promises to, but I probably won’t make music for a little bit.”

A desire to prioritize his health motivated the rapper’s move, however, he did elaborate a little on his health difficulties. He went on to say, “Nothing crazy, but just like, you know, I want people to be healthy in life, and I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach“. While he did not go into detail about the nature of these issues, he stressed the significance of concentrating on his well-being and getting it right.

However, his 8th studio album is getting rave reviews from fans and some basketball stars. Devin Booker, the Phoenix Suns star, took to Instagram to show his love for Drake. Drake even mentioned Booker in a song on the album called, ‘Daylight’. Another basketball player, Kevin Durant, showed his appreciation for Drake by calling him ‘the greatest’ on his Instagram story. He, however, even worked with Drake on this album and did his A&R (Artists and repertoire).

Drake has triumphantly returned with his eighth studio album, “For All the Dogs”. The album has an outstanding array of guest artists including SZA, Bad Bunny, J. Cole, 21 Savage, and others. The album, which contains 23 songs, was released alongside his current single, “8 AM in Charlotte”. That track made a subtle reference to his ongoing conflict with rapper Kanye West.

Drake’s highly anticipated album began with interesting teases. To begin with, it includes advertisements in major newspapers and the smash track “Slime You Out” featuring SZA. Notably, his son, Adonis, designed the album’s artwork, providing a personal touch to this musical milestone.

While Drake’s absence may worry fans, there is a silver lining. He mentioned that he had just cooperated with fellow rapper J. Cole and teased that their music would be out before his recording sabbatical began. The collaboration’s title and release date remain unknown, keeping fans eagerly expecting this intriguing initiative. “For All The Dogs” may represent a little break in Drake’s career, but it also represents a dedication to self-care and longevity in the music industry.
