Despite landing the second overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft, the Charlotte Hornets are still one of the bottom-dwelling teams in the Eastern Conference. That makes them an easy target for opposing teams. The Miami Heat, who made it to the NBA Finals last year, are in the ninth spot in the East with a 12-10 record. If the Heat manage to win both games, the team would be able to create enough momentum that would help them spark a run of winning games.
However, that will be easier said than done without Tyler Herro. Herro and the team’s starting center, Bam Adebayo, are also listed out for Monday’s matchup against the Charlotte Hornets due to his hip.
The Heat have also ruled Haywood Highsmith out due to a back issue. Herro and Adebayo are two of the team’s top three scorers who will not be in the team’s starting lineup. This will create a big deficit in the Heat’s ability to generate offense.

So, with no Herro and Bam Adebayo, will Jimmy Butler be playing tonight? And will he be able to repeat his performance from their last meeting?

Is Jimmy Butler suiting up for the Heat?
Jimmy Butler had 32 points the last time the Heat faced the Hornets. But he ended up tweaking his ankle last month, leading him to miss out on two straight games for the Heat. However, Butler quickly made his way back onto the court, helping his team in any way possible.
Jimmy Buckets will not only be present in the team’s starting lineup for Miami but will also be giving it his all to help improve the team’s overall record. Missing out on two of their top three scorers, the responsibility on offense will majorly rely on the six-time All-Star.
